Ooooh Lets play a game!

Guess What I Am Doing

Here is a game we can play. You won’t win a prize, a giveaway, or shenanigans like that. You’ll only have the beautiful gift of feeling, for a brief moment, what it is like in my life.

Here are your clues:

1. I couldn’t find Isaiah

2. I found him in the towel closet

3. He piled up blankets

4. He pulled down his pants

5. He took off his diaper

6. When I asked him what he was doing he closed the door on my face and declared, “…..”

Tell me. What do YOU think he declared?

Give up? He screamed, “Close door mom! POTTY!!!”

Uh yes son, what was I thinking… I potty in the towel closet all the time! Someone want to come clean up my towel closet?

I love it that you took a picture!

Well, now you have all clean linens, right? My kids have a habit of pulling a blanket out of the bottom of the linen closet and using it for half an hour (to hide from the bright lights of the TV, to pretend to be a birthday present, you know…). And then we put it away eventually. They never get dirty enough to actually wash them. So on the bright side? Now you have an excuse to wash all the linens. (Not that I’m jealous of you having to do it!)

Oh my, I love it!!! I am doing loads of towels right now from my husband fixing the sink in the bathroom and not turning off the water first. Not quite as entertaining of a story though.

    Here’s a fun closet game,

convince your 4 year old daughter to play hide and seek with you and your husband so you can pretend to look for her and really grab a quicky while she is waiting with baited breath for you to find her.

Stop every few minutes to call out:
    “Is she in the sink?”
    “No! Not in the sink!”

    “Is she under the bed?”
    “Nope not under the bed!”

“Is she right here in the closet next to the bed?”
    “Nope! Not in here!”

Best part? She jumps out of the closet …next to the bed…that you and your husband are in…naked…and screams:
    “Yes I am!!”

Hmmm.. the more I think of it, the more this seems less like a “good” closet game and more of an addition to Bad Mommy Monday.

They both were born in September, love chocolate, coffee, swearing, and loving on their babies. While they share many commanilites- they are from two different worlds. Sadie, a New Mexico native, grew up in a blended family, while Jasmine, an Oklahoman, grew up with a single parent. Jasmine and Sadie are passionate about being mothers, in different way.  Sadie is the mother of The Norah. Norah is a bright one year old who can clear the room with her vocal stylings.  Sadie swears she can only get pregnant with girls- lest she have to deal with a booger eating boy! Isaiah is Jasmine’s son. He is two years old. He is nicknamed “Toad” because he tends to be well…. toady. Jasmine thinks she is only cut out to mother boys… because, well, she is a Tom Boy herself.
