What a story! Though it does have me craving French onion soup (we have good knives, though). I do okay with my own blood but kind of freak out with other people's. My husband is all manly about it, so when the occasional de-boning terrible finger cut arises, I'm the one running around saying things like "Stay calm! I just took first aid! Do you need anything?!?!" and he's wrapping it in a paper towel and saying "No, I'm sure it's going to be fine. Can you get me a few more towels, though?"

I hope it's better now and that you can get some good French onion soup in a can!

She posted about poo stains in cloth diapers. Frankly, it cracked me up that she chimed in and addressed you Sadie and your poo stain concern. HEHEHEHE

Jasmine, do you mean the sun bleaching stains? Or is there something else -- some magical cure to the ickiness that ails me?

You poor baby, and what did your wise and caring mother say when you texted her that you nearly cut your finger off, just "really", just hold pressure and elevate, it will be okay. Some mom huh? Thing is, it is pretty hard to bleed to death from a cut on a finger. Was pretty sure the only really casualty would be Rusty, and you have carpet, so he would be okay too if he passed out!! Love you baby. Be careful and aske for good knives for your next birthday.

Meredith... did you see that on the last post the owner of Terra Tots (the store I went to to learn about cloth diapering...) addressed your stain concern?

Holy pain and hurt, batman! That sucks! Well, I'm glad you didn't need to rush to the ER to have them reattach any fingers at least. Ouch, ouch, ouch! =(

Haha! Thanks Philip. Granted, brisket only requires me slapping some meat in a roasting pan and leaving it in the oven for 8 hours. Haha!
