Yo and welcome! I am Jasmine. I am a  hyper organized, outgoing, controlling, creative, kind, and very diverse lady. My favorite things to do are to help people, create things, and swear like a sailor. I am a mother of three who was told I would NEVER  be able to get pregnant. Three pregnancies later and the jokes on them! I am married to Garrett “the awesomesauce” Brown of GarrettABrown.com. Together we work had to figure out what marriage, parenthood, and life is about.

TheBrokins.com was my brainchild. It went something like this:

Me: “Sadie! We should start a blog because we are too awesome to not have this documented.”

Sadie: “Meh.”

Me: “Sadie! Get excited, damn it! Don’t you want people commenting on how awesome we are!”

Sadie: ” I don’t think people will think we are as awesome as we do…”

Me: “Damn it. Party pooper!”

(Pause)

Me: “Lets do it anyway!!!”

Sadie: (shrug) “Okay.”

TheBrokins.com started as a way for Sadie and me to chronicle our shenanigans and morphed into a way for us to interact with others, advocate issues we believe in, and generally rant and rave.
